International Book Fairs

Organized by the History and Culture Foundation, the Warsaw International Book Fair brings together 600 exhibitors. It has a very varied program which attracts both the public and professionals. 

The Warsaw International Book Fair is Poland’s major literary event of the year. It includes three important festivals: the Warsaw Comics Festival; the Warsaw Crime Festival and the Intergenerational Children's Literature Festival, "Fathers and Children". The Polish Book Institute’s mission is to promote books and reading as well as Polish literature abroad. It has an important translation subsidy program which funds the translation of Polish books into foreign languages.

The BIEF stand, located at the entrance to the Palais de la Culture, offers more than 1,000 titles.
