International Book Fairs

The Vilnius Book Fair has been in existence for twenty-four years and in 2024 welcomed more than 55,000 visitors. In 2023, the Fair's theme, "Freedom", made it a landmark event thanks to its commitment to Ukraine to whom it offered an exhibition space for its publications and a reception area for its publishing industry professionals. 

The fair also celebrated the 700th anniversary of Vilnius, a UNESCO literary city since 2021. This exceptionally dynamic city organizes many literary events, has universities with literature and book industry curricula as well as a large network of independent bookstores.
